Mary Louise "Weezie" Morrison

Mary Louise "Weezie" Morrison, 90, of Huntington, passed away on September 18, 2017 at the Hospice of Huntington. Born on August 14, 1927 in Huntington, she was a daughter of the late Grady Martin and Beulah Burrows Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Morrison; son, Ricky Morrison; her grandson whom she raised like a son, Roger Morrison, and her siblings, Josephine Martin, Clarence Martin and Harold Martin. Mary was a devoted Christian who studied her bible every day. She was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and retired from K-Mart. She was well known for her cooking and candy making, and was loved by all who knew her. Mary is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Dana) Turley of Huntington and a very special little girl that she loved dearly, Taylor Jo Keller. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Terry Thompson, officiating. Burial will follow at Crook Cemetery in Huntington. The family will welcome friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
