Mary Evelyn Parr

Mary Evelyn Parr, 91 of Charlotte, NC formerly of Huntington, WV passed away at home with her family by her side on December 13, 2022.  She was born August 4, 1931 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Albert and Ruby Tapp Breezawitz.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Dewey Parr, III.  Survivors include her loving husband, Dewey Parr, Jr.; a daughter and son-in-law, Marylyn Parr Boyd and husband Howard of Charlotte, NC; a grandson, Michael Parr and wife Mila and their daughter, Amberly Parr of Aron, NC in the Outer Banks. Mary enjoyed crafting, sewing and quilting.  She especially enjoyed working at their craft shop "The Old Gray House" located in Buxton, NC on Cape Hatteras Island.  Private graveside services will be held at Woodmere Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.
