Mary Blain

Mary Felix Blain, 80, of Huntington, passed on into eternal life to join her husband on Saturday, January 19, 2008 in Hospice House of Huntington.  Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.  She was born June 6, 1927 in Huntington, a daughter of the late James Ronald and Elsie Berry Felix.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Blain and her brother, Richard James Felix.   Mrs. Blain retired from the VA Hospital after 26 years of service.  She had a generous, caring spirit for all the veterans and their spouses with whom she came into contact through Admissions at the VA Hospital.  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bucky and Joleyne Blain of Huntington; one daughter, Charlotte Linda Hazelett of Huntington; five grandchildren, Mary Dilley of Marietta, OH, Wanda Dilley of Huntington, Nicholas and Jonathan Blain of  Huntington and Andi Wagers of Huntington.  There will be no visitation.  Beard Mortuary, Huntington is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
