Mary Sue Black Perry, 75, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born May 12, 1941 in Huntington, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Howard Black and Virginia Ethel Shipe Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Gene Perry. Mary was a kind, generous and loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Living Waters Free Methodist Church in Altizer, WV and retired from Duval High School in 2002 where she taught World History and Spanish. Mary is survived by her son, Daniel Gene Black of Huntington; step-daughters, Amanda Perry Dailey of Ohio and Frances Perry Williams of Ohio; sisters, Barbara Ann Finley of Huntington and Sarah Elizabeth Schofield of Huntington; niece and nephew, Angelia Joe Cook and Jesse Howard (Retha) Mannon; great-nieces and nephews, Amanda Cooper, Kenzee Mannon, Nicholas Mcquaid and Joseph Cook; one great-great-nephew, Mason Cooper and friends, Patsy Beckelhemer, Laura Legge and Laura Leigh Baldwin. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington.
