Mary Susan Adkins

MARY SUSAN ADKINS, 86, of South Point, OH, widow of Mose Adkins, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on September 21, 1928 in Fayette County, WV, a daughter of the late David and Mamie (Smith) Bragg. She is survived by her children, Harold (Kimberly) Adkins of Huntington, Dale (Rowena) Adkins of Santa Clara, CA, Diane Davis of Huntington and Dotty Sheppard of Barboursville; siblings, Edna Bray of Irongate, VA, John Bragg of Rainelle, WV and Virginia Darby of Hamlin; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Adkins was a member of Sybene Missionary Baptist Church for over 20 years. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Beard Mortuary with Pastor D.L. Webb officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 PM at the mortuary.
