Marion Virginia Adkins

MARION VIRGINIA ADKINS, 82, of Huntington, widow of Charles Adkins, passed away on Monday March 15, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on August 24, 1927, in Riversville, W.Va., a daughter to the late James and Lena Bailey Thompson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Cleo Miller, Wilma Perry and Margaret McCloskey, and one brother, James Thompson. She is survived by three sons, Jim (Marie) DeMarco and Chuck Adkins, both of Brunswick, Ohio, and Bob (Anita) Adkins of Huntington; eight grandchildren, Julie (Jay) Zimmerman, Lori (Joe) Silversburg, Jimmy DeMarco, Jamie (Curtis) Grant, Michelle (Mike) Cain, Charlie Adkins, Ryan (Heather) Adkins and Bobby Adkins; and eight great-grandchildren.
