Marie Elizabeth Means

Marie Elizabeth Means, 77, of Huntington, wife of Donald L. Means, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on September 1, 1932 in Huntington, a daughter of the late William and Molly Smith Myers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, David Hopper and 14 brothers and sisters. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Bruce (Alice) Combs of Hurricane; one granddaughter, Christina Combs; one nephew, Tim Howard of Winston-Salem, NC; and one great-nephew, Tucker A. Howard. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6 -8 p.m. at the mortuary.
