Lucille Fay Belville Wight, 90, of Guyandotte WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday January 25, 2018 in Portsmouth OH. She was born January 29, 1927 in Huntington WV, a daughter of the late William Louis Belville and Hettie Mae Miller Belville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her five brothers, Roy Belville, Raymond Belville, Jesse Belville, Robert Belville, and Billy Belville; and her four sisters, Ruby Ball, Irene Kincaid, Juanita Curry, and Iris Conaty. Lucille was a long-time member of 26th Street Baptist Church in Huntington and then at Second Baptist Church in Ravenswood. Lucille was perhaps best known in the community for her efforts to encourage motorists to honor the 25 MPH speed limit on Third Avenue through Guyandotte. Survivors include her three sons, Cecil R. Wight of Huntington, Ricki N. Wight of Wheelersburg Ohio, and Russell A. Wight of Leander Texas. Lucille is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many beloved nephews and nieces. At Lucille's request, only a brief graveside service will be held in her honor. This will occur on Monday, February 5th, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Oaklawn Cemetery, 6155 East Pea Ridge in Huntington. Lucille will be laid to rest next to her parents and surrounded by many of her family members.
