Louis "Bubby" Lanham

Louis "Bubby" Lanham, 62, of Huntington passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born on May 19, 1947 in Huntington, a son of the late Bobby Lee and Minnie Burns Lanham. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Sadie Hamilton; three sisters, Mary F. Lanham, Rosalee Lanham and Babes Damron; and one brother, Robert L. Lanham. He is survived by his ex-wife Barbara; four sons, Samuel (Brandi) Lanham of Huntington, David Myers of Teays Valley, Joey (Michelle) Myers of Sandusky, OH and Greg (Jessica) Lanham of Huntington; one special granddaughter, Kati Jo Lanham; four daughters, Monica (Jeff) Eden of Huntington, Marilyn Prince of Teays Valley, Tina of Hurricane, and Toni Smith of Milton; two brothers, Gary  Lanham of Huntington and William Foy (Bettye) Lanham of Huntington; one sister, Sheila Chapman of Barboursville; and twenty grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev Allen Lowe and Rev. Roger Mooney officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
