Louis A. High

Louis A. High, 77, of Barboursville, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Hospice House of Huntington.  A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Highlawn Presbyterian Church with Pastor Mark McCalla officiating.  He was born March 27, 1930 in Huntington, a son of the late James and Freda Bias High.  Mr. High was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the US Navy.  He retired from CSX in 1992 and was also employed by Moses Auto Group.  He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Spaulding High; one daughter, Ginny M. High of Barboursville; one brother, Donald E. High of Wheaton, MD and several nieces, nephews and friends.  Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington or Highlawn Presbyterian Church.  Beard Mortuary, Huntington is in charge of arrangements.
