Linda D. Lawrence, 89 of Huntington, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born August 14, 1936 in Huntington.

Linda was married to James H. Lawrence for many wonderful years before his passing in 2017. She was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, Jr. Woman’s Club and P.E.O. Club. Linda loved to read, Marshall sports and played in numerous bridge clubs. Most of all, she loved being with her family!

In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Clayton Darlington. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (David) DuVall of Flatwoods, KY; brother, James S. (Barbara) Darlington; grandchildren, Michael (Candace) McClure of Huntington and Madeline (fiancé, Riley Wheatley) DuVall of Cattlesburg, KY; great grandson, William McClure of Huntington; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Darlington of Florida, Becky Geisler of Florida, Leslie Darlington of California, and Kevin Darlington of California.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, in their chapel. Linda's family will greet friends beforehand from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., in the church parlor. Interment will be private for the family.
