Leola Elizabeth Boston

Leola Elizabeth Boston, 90 of Proctorville, OH, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at The Wyngate at RiversEdge in Proctorville. She was born November 21, 1934 in Proctorville to the late Luther and Helen Pinkerman.

Leola was deeply devoted to her husband, Robert D. Boston. They were married on August 4, 1972 in Huntington and they enjoyed many wonderful years together before his passing in 2022. Leola loved gardening and the outdoors.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Charles, Paul David and Bob Pinkerman and sisters, Lucille Starcher, Dorothy Jenkins, Marjorie Pinkerman and Betty Jo Bragg. Leola is survived by her sons, Buddy (Michelle) Chapman of Milton, WV and Rick Chapman of Proctorville; grandchildren, Kyle (Bethany) Chapman, Zachary Chapman, Seth Chapman, Nick Chapman, Ethan Chapman and Emily Chapman; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Paula Boston of Myrtle Beach, SC; nephews, Ron Starcher of Proctorville and Eddie Jenkins of Adairsville, GA and great nephew and niece, Grant Boston and McKenzie Boston.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 10 AM at Rome-Proctorville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Huntington. Please leave an online condolence for Leola's family on her tribute wall.
