Lee Scarberry (Leffingwell) Cometto

Lee Scarberry Cometto, age 93, of Huntington, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 29, 2023 at her home.  She was born September 18, 1930 in Huntington to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Day) Leffingwell.  Lee was a loving and devoted wife and homemaker.  She enjoyed serving in churches, especially working with children.

Lee was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Scarberry and Jim Cometto and her grandson, Jason Petrie.  She is survived by her children, Ralph (Angie) Scarberry, Penny Dennison and Carol Scarberry; grandchildren, Ryan and Jeremy Scarberry, Nikki Adams and Rachel Cummings; great-grandchildren, Heather and Jason Jazz Petrie and Caitlyn, Makenzie and Emily Adams; brothers, Richard and Darrell Leffingwell; sisters, Janice Krismer, Faye Leslie and Wanda Edwards as well as a host of other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Beard Mortuary with Pastor C.J. Adkins officiating.
