Lance Coleman Gore

Lance Coleman Gore, 53 of Barboursville, WV left this world to be with his sweet Granny. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Coleman and Norma Ellis and his beloved stepfather, Robert M. Carroll. He is survived by his loving mother, Kathy Carroll; step sister, Amy McCallister and step brother, Bobby Carroll. Services will be on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Beard Mortuary. An hour for visitation is scheduled at 10:00 am, with funeral service at 11:00. He will be laid to rest at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV following services.

Lance was an avid football player and fan, and loved nothing more than spending a Sunday afternoon watching his Indianapolis Colts play. He played Middle School football for the Lincoln Jr. High Lions from 1985-1987, and continued his football career at Barboursville High School from 1988-1990. Lance graduated from Barboursville in 1990 and then was a walk on for the Marshall University Thundering Herd. He spent several summers giving back to the football community he loved so much by coaching youth football in the Huntington area.
