Kristie D. Ward of Kenova, WV passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her residence. Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Miller Memorial Park, Miller, OH. She was born June 3, 1964 in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Darrell Sadler and her mother, Diana Sue Collins Kingery. She is survived by her husband, Ron Ward; a daughter Kirissa Ward at home; her father, Darrell (Lynette) Black of Huntington; two sisters, Ashley Black of Huntington and Mitzie Black of Greenbottom, WV; grandchildren, Dagan Grieco, Hattie and Lillian Sadler, step-daughter, Casey Ward of Athalia, OH; mother-in-law, Barbara J. Ward of Athalia, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins and a special friend, Diane Deal. In lieu of flowers the family request donations toward funeral expenses. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary.
