Kathleen Grace Nelson

KATHLEEN GRACE NELSON, 83, of Huntington passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born on May 21, 1929 in Quinwood, WV, a daughter of the late Raleigh and Ida Perkins Rhodes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Nelson, and a sister, Lillian Richardson. She is survived by her daughters, Neshia (Joe) McDonald of Tampa, FL and Deborrah Doss of Huntington; brother, Homer Rhodes of Huntington; grandchildren, Stephen, Bradley, Tonya, Tammy, Cathy, Brad and Angela; and great-grandchildren, Kelyn, Connor, Brandon, Eryn, Ryan, Maddy, Alex, Catelyn, Jacob and Brayden. Mrs. Nelson was a retired administrative assistant with the Detective Bureau of the Huntington Police Department with over 20 years of service. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Brad Poe officiating. Entombment will follow.
