Katherine "Kitty" Lambert

Katherine "Kitty" Lambert, of Huntington, WV, was called home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2007 at St. Mary's MedicalCenter. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Carl Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in WhiteChapelMemorialGardens. She was born in Franklin, WV a daughter of the late John Preston and Bessie Landis Pennybacker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lambert and several brothers and sisters. She was a member of HighlawnBaptistChurch, where she was a former deaconess, taught Sunday school for many years, and was a member of the BYKOTA Sunday School Class. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Pat Hunt of Claremont, SC; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary V. and Brenda Nasser Lambert of San Ramon, CA; a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Champ Vermillion of Bristol, VA; two granddaughters, Kristen Hunt of Huntington; Amy Weaver and husband, Eric of Huntington; a grandson, Frank Lambert and his wife, Cristi of Cross Lanes, WV; four great grandchildren, Cory and Kate Lambert and Taylor and Morgan Webb; several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends. The family will receive friends after 10:00 AM on Saturday at Beard Mortuary.
