Junior E. Johnston

Junior E. Johnston, 86, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 in Hospice House of Huntington.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor Steven Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  He was born October 12, 1921 in Grove, OK, a son of the late Parker and Cleo Johnston.  Mr. Johnston was a deacon at Central Freewill Baptist Church, a member of the Huntington Lodge 53 AF & AM, a Past High Priest of the Huntington Chapter #6 Royal Arch Mason, Past Commander Huntington Commandery #9 Knights Templar, Huntington Scottish Rite Bodies – 33o  Mason, Huntington Chapter #8 Order of Eastern Star – Past Patron, Past Grand Representative, Beni Kedem Shrine – Huntington Shrine Club – Faithful 40, a Kentucky Colonel and was retired from Houdaille Industries and St. Mary's Hospital.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Burneline Bays Johnston; four daughters, Carolyn Hall, Patricia Randolph, Margaret Ball and Sharon O'Brien; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington.  Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
