Joy Marie Griffin

Joy Marie Griffin, 60 of Huntington, WV passed away on Friday December 5, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. David Lemming officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born August 3, 1954 in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her father James L. Garren.  Joy was a retired teacher with the Wayne County Board of Education. She was a Children's Christian Education Director. She is a member of Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving family, her husband, Robert Griffin; two sons, Cody and Alex Griffin of Huntington; her mother Annabelle Lang Garren; a brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Patricia Garren of Hurricane, WV; a niece, Emily Garren.
