Josephine L. Rice

Josephine L. Rice, 85, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2008 in St. Mary's Medical Center.  Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville with Dr. Allen Reasons officiating.  She was born November 10, 1922 in Louisa, KY a daughter of the late William M.and Emmer Josephine Barker Miller.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Rice; brother, William Baines Miller.  She was retired from C & P Telephone Company with 42 ½ years of service and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Huntington.  She is survived by her sister, Roberta Lee Raines of Barboursville.  There will be no visitation.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.beardmortuary.com.
