Johnny Eugene Martin

JOHNNY EUGENE MARTIN, 72, of Huntington, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Cornerstone Hospital. He was born on December 25, 1940 in Huntington, a son of the late John and Thelma (Tull) Martin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Martin. He is survived by his children, Johnny Eugene Martin II, Jeremy (Leslee) Martin, Regina (John) Lafferty, Crystal (James) Rose; mother of his children, Linda Martin; brother, William Martin; sister Mary (Junior) Adkins; grandchildren, Brendan, Patrick, Ryan, Rachael, Elyssa, Caleb, Dylan, Gavin, Jacob, Gracie, Lillia, Kendra, Madelyn, Ava J., Fallan, Jenah, John Wallace, and Megan; a niece who he loved as a daughter, Jamie Adkins (Rusty) Hunt; additional family members, Amanda L. and her son Austin and Amanda M and her son Ethan; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Martin was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a retired diesel mechanic. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Rev. Kevin Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the mortuary.
