John Edward Tanner

JOHN EDWARD TANNER, 82, of Valencia, CA, formerly of Huntington, passed away on July 3, 2011. He was born on October 27, 1928 in Huntington a son of the late John and Estelle Hamlin Tanner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Tanner. He is survived by a son John R. Tanner and his wife Cindy L. Tanner; a daughter, Robin L. Tanner and her fiancé Mark Green; two grandchildren, John W. Tanner and Jessika L. Tanner, all of Valencia, CA; a nephew, Tom Tanner of Sarasota, FL. Mr. Tanner was a retired property manager for California Federal Savings and a graduate of USC. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Navy. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
