John Taylor Moore Iii

John T. "Jay" Moore, III, 71 of Huntington, WV passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his residence. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, A Celebration of Life will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Beard Mortuary. Inurnment will follow at Ridgelawn Memorial Park. . He was born March 24, 1948 in Huntington, WV the son of the late John T. and Anna Lou Black Moore. He is survived by two daughters, Kristi (Scott) Sweeney of Louisville, KY and Leilani (Allen) Gilbert of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Taylor Sweeney, Tristan Gilbert and Caleb Pitts; two sisters, Sherry Bias of Huntington and Janie (Nick) Forto of Richmond, VA; a brother, Danny (Sharon) Moore of Huntington; two nieces, Shelley (Devon) Smith and Stacey (T.J.) Hargis; a host of lifelong friends, including a special friend, Alan Meek of Huntington.
