John Henry Irving

JOHN HENRY IRVING, 79, of Proctorville, OH, husband of Ramona Shannon Irving, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born on January 17, 1931 in Cabell County, a son of the late Dean and Lucille Mers Irving. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Robert Irving. In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Robin (Tim) Fife of Proctorville, OH; one son, Mark Shannon of Huntington; two grandsons, John Waters and his fiancé, Amanda, of Huntington and Joey Fife of Charleston. Mr. Irving was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He will be missed by his family and his many, many friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
