JOHN EVRON COOK of Huntington, WV died January 4, 2013. Graveside services will be conducted at Woodmere Memorial Park Abbey of Remembrance, Huntington, on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Dan A. Hogan officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. Friends may arrive at the Abbey from 1:30 pm until time of the service. John was born on September 3, 1945 in Huntington, a son of the late Daniel Riley Cook and Myrtle Mellert Cook. He is survived by his wife, Betty Screws Cook; daughters Ashley (Christopher) Clark and Ramsay (Aric) Garmestani; grandchildren Christopher, Virginia, Samuel and Sarah Clark; and special friends Donnie and Becky Ray. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church, 2848 Putnam Ave., Hurricane, WV. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family.
