Joann Porter Hinerman

JoAnn Porter Hinerman, 79, of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Huntington, passed from this life at her home on January 24, 2016. Born May 25, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Porter and Geraldine Harris. In addition to her parents,  she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert B. Hinerman; infant son, Bruce Allen Hinerman, and her sister, Betty Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Brook (Byron) Dickerson of Louisville, TN; grandson, Michael Dickerson of Louisville, TN; brother, Jerry Porter of Brandon, FL and her sisters, Judy Wells of Westerville, OH, Shirley Ferryman of Asheboro, NC and Connie Nance of Scottown, OH. JoAnn retired from Food City after 15 years of service and was a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Gene Brooks, officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington. Pall Bearers will be Byron Dickerson, Michael Dickerson, David Billups, Cole Billups, Mark McDaniel and Jim Nance.
