Jean Ann (Canterbury) Rogers

Jean Ann Rogers, 88, of Huntington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Wyngate Senior Living. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Beard Mortuary. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. The family will receive friends after 11:30 a.m. She was born July 14, 1936, in Huntington, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Ruth Jennings Canterbury. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Joseph Elmer Rogers, daughter-in-law, Connie Rogers and grandson, Joseph Rogers. Jean Ann was a member of 5th Avenue Baptist Church where she attended the Homebuilders Sunday School. She was also a former member of the Huntington Woman's Club. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Len and Karen Rogers of Huntington; Todd and Shonda Rogers of Waco, TX; Sara Beth and David Hagley of Newnan, GA and Cynthia Rogers of Huntington; grandchildren, Kristina Peyton, Karly Schober, Tyson and Ian Rogers, Hannah Sorrells, and Sydney and Ray Hagley. Eight great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Diane Canterbury of Huntington; special friends, Joe and Karen McDonie, Reggie Giles, Jeep, Scott and Missy Naum, Mutual Wholesale employees and a host of friends and extended family.
