Jane Lambert

JANE LAMBERT, 90, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with private burial in Jackson, Ohio. Jane was born in Michigan to Elizabeth and Charles O. Evans, and grew up in Jackson, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Lambert with whom she traveled the world. She was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church, where she served as elder. She held many positions within the Presbyterian Church, locally, regionally and nationally, including president of the women, circle chair, and was awarded a Lifetime Women of the Church designation. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth Smith and  RJ "Jerry" Smith of Calabash, NC.; a granddaughter, Jerrin Martus of Calabash, NC, a grandson, Eric J. Smith and his wife, Katie I. Smith of Rockville, MD, and great-grandson, Kyle Martus of Calabash, NC, sister-in-law Anne Evans of Galion, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the staff of Wyngate and all of the staff at Pro Nursing and Health Services. Special gratitude is given to her excellent long-term caregiver Angie, who was with her in her greatest time of need, Maxine for her special care, and Michelle, her lovely weekend caregiver.
