Jackson "Jack" E. Taylor

Jackson E. "Jack" Taylor 69, of Sarasota, FL died at Tidewell Hospice House on Saturday June 28, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Highland Cemetery. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends after 1:00 PM at Beard Mortuary.  He was born April 13, 1939 in Huntington, WV.  He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Shenandoah and attended Marshall University. Jack and his wife of 29 years, Deborah, moved to Florida in 1979. In 1981, Jack went into business opening a cabinet shop with his partner Herb Bradley, Bradley-Taylor Cabinet Company where they served Port Charlotte for 15 years. The family has lived in Sarasota since 1999. Survivors include his wife, Deborah Taylor, two loving children, daughter Tiffany and son Jackson, Jr. and mother, Bernice Husk all of Sarasota. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation, 1515 South Osprey Avenue, Sarasota, FL-c/o The Institute For Advanced Medicine Neuroscience Center of Excellence.
