JACK FRANKLIN TRIPLETT, 86, of Huntington, widower of Bessie Carpenter Triplett, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2011 at the V.A. Medical Center in Huntington. He was born on December 14, 1924 in Huntington, a son of the late James and Gladys Nichols Triplett. He is survived by two daughters, Joan (Norman) Stickler of Huntington and Judy (Charles) Estep of Bloomington, IN; two grandchildren, Angela (Donnie) Rose and Mark Stickler; and three great-grandchildren, Anna, Joshua and Caleb Rose. Mr. Triplett was a U.S. Army Veteran, a Master Mason and Past Master of the Huntington Masonic Lodge 53 whose members will perform graveside Masonic Funeral Rites. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington, with Bob Rose officiating. Burial will follow the service. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family.
