Jack G. Mcginnis

Jack G. McGinnis, 89, of Milton, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his home. Born on June 9, 1928 in Huntington, he was a son of the late Elba McGinnis and Rosazella McGinnis Turner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold McGinnis and two sisters, Donna Robinson and Ruby Foster. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from CSX after 42 years of service. He was a member of Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church in Hurricane. Jack is survived by his wife of 68 years, Geneva Winter McGinnis; his brother, Robert McGinnis of Ashland, KY and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Ellis Conley, officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Huntington. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to services.
