Iris Ann Crum

Iris Ann Crum, 84 of Huntington, WV passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at her residence. Her funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. She was a lifetime resident of Cabell County and was the daughter of the late Edward Leo and Anna Garnet Childers Sowards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step father, John G. Sowards, two sisters, Wanda J. Johnson and Erma Lee Berry. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William W. Crum; a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Roger Caldwell; a brother, Harry Edward (Kay) Sowards, all of Huntington;  grandchildren, Roger Lee (Janet) Caldwell, Jr of Florida and Donald William "Billy" (Melanie) Wray of Huntington,  three great grandchildren, Wyatt and Austin Wray and Kelsey Devries and several nieces and nephews. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Huntington or Alzheimer's Association, Charleston, WV. The family would like to thank the staff of Travel M.D., the nurses and therapists from Kindred at Home and the awesome staff from Hospice of Huntington for their excellent care.
