Irene Holbrook

Irene Holbrook, 87, of Kenova and Buffalo Creek, WV went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday October 1, 2014 at the Emogene Dolin Hospice House. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Pat Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. She was born April 28, 1927 in Wayne, WV the daughter of the late Mont and Georgia Milam Webb. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Garnet William Holbrook, two sons, Gary Lee and Ronald William and twelve siblings. She was an active member of Spring Valley Freedom Baptist Church. She is survived by four loving daughters whom she adored, Linda Piccirillo of Huntington, WV; Temia Gail Shanks of Huntington; Patsy Gruenenfelder of Dallas, TX and Sandy (Cliff) Wilson of Lexington, KY; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and her church family who she loved dearly.
