Howard F. Pullin

Howard F. Pullin, 87, of Huntington passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 in Chateau Grove Personal Care Center.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2009 in Suncrest Cemetery, Point Pleasant, WV.  He was born July 27, 1921 in Pt. Pleasant, a son of the late Hoy and Elizabeth Howard Pullin.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Pullin.  Mr. Pullin was a veteran of the US Army, having served in World War II.  He was retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers.  He is survived by four sons, Daryl Pullin and his partner, Pam Fizer, Michael Pullin and his wife, Sherry, Richard Pullin, Howard Pullin, Jr. and his wife, Sandra, all of Huntington; one stepson, Ronald Gregg and his wife, Carol of Flatwoods, KY; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Friends may call Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington.  Online condolences may be sent at www.beardmortuary.com
