HOMER CRAIG, JR., 78, of Lesage, husband of Dorcus Anderson Craig, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House in Huntington. He was born on May 9, 1935 in Huntington, a son of the late Homer Sr. and Ethel Nelson Craig. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Jack Craig. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kimberly Myers of Tampa, FL, David (Pamela) Craig of Lesage, and Gregory Craig of Lesage; sister, Mary Beall of Fairbanks, AK; grandchildren, Adam, Travis, Morgan Cody and Destiny Craig and Scotty Myers; great-grandchildren, Isabella Myers and Sadie and Bradley Craig; and a host of beloved brothers and sisters in law. Mr. Craig was a retired furnace operator at Keiser Aluminum and an avid outdoorsman. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Beard Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. The family will receive friends two hours before the service at the mortuary.
