Herschel H. Halley

Herschel H. Halley Sr., 83, of Thornville, OH, formerly of Proctorville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Autumn on the Lake Healthcare in Thornville. He was preceded in death by his wife; Georgianna Pike Halley, one son; Herschel Halley Jr., his parents; Robert and Mary Halley, two brothers; Robert Hailey Jr. and Bill Halley, and two sisters; Evelyn Kline and Lillian Germano. He is survived by Two grandsons; Jerry L. (Amber) Halley Jr. of Thornville, OH and Paul E. (Charlene) Halley of Georgia, and eight great-grandchildren; Dustin, Kimberly, Jared, Karletta, Christopher, and Ashley Halley all of Thornville, and Madison and Joshua Halley of Georgia. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Miller Cemetery in Miller, OH.  There will be no visitation. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family.
