Helen Louise Tolley

MRS. HELEN FERGUSON TOLLEY, age 92, of Barboursville (formerly of Huntington) died Thursday, January 30, 2014, at her residence.  Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., at Beard Mortuary.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Hamrick officiating.  Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.  Helen was born on August 1, 1921, in Rock Camp, Ohio, daughter of the late Lawrence and Nevada Muncy Ferguson.  She was a homemaker in the Highlawn area of Huntington for 60 years, was an Avon Representative in and around the Highlawn area for almost 50 years and served as a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital for 30 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Velmer J. Tolley, and one grandson, Craig S. Tolley.  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Bertha Miller of Lesage, WV; one daughter and son-in-law Jean and Dale Brumfield of Woodbridge, VA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Pam Tolley of Jacksonville, FL, and Dave and Beth Tolley of Richmond, VA; five grandchildren, Velvet Brumfield Dishon (Frank) of Glendale, AZ, Michael Brumfield of  Langhorne, PA, Amy Tolley Bonanno (Jim) of Jupiter, FL, Nick Tolley (Carolyn) of Memphis, TN, and Scott Tolley (Donna) of Mechanicsville, VA; and eight great grandchildren.
