Helen Lee Prichard

Helen Lee Prichard, 83, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport. Born November 30, 1932 in Huntington, WV, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Edward Workman and Mabel "Jean" Boley Workman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Jerri Workman of Stonewall, OK. Helen was a missionary for Village Missions for 32 years. She and her husband Carl traveled to over 39 states to spread the word of God. Helen also devoted much of her time to ladies bible study groups and being active in the church. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Carl Prichard, of Kingsport, TN; her children, Andrew and Piper Prichard of Murphy, NC and Deborah and Mike Lane of Kingsport, TN; her siblings, Bill Workman of Stonewall, Oklahoma, Joan M. Hughes of Coal Grove, OH, Judy Taylor of Greer, SC and Gary Workman of Joppa, MD; 5 grandchildren, David Prichard of Murphy, NC, Steven Prichard of Tampa, FL, Trisha Parker of Orlando, FL, Damon Jones of St. Petersberg FL and Meghan Jones of Tampa FL, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Beard Mortuary, in Huntington, WV. Burial will follow at Forest Memorial Park in Milton, WV. The family will welcome friends for visitation one hour prior to services.
