Harold E. Winnell

MR. HAROLD E. WINNELL, 85 of Huntington, WV, went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 20, 2011 at Teays Valley Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Beard Mortuary with Rev. David Lemming officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodmere Abbey of Remembrance. He was born April 16, 1926 in Charleston, WV, the son of the late Joseph Lott and Estelle Randolph Winnell. Harold was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was formerly employed by R.F. Steiner and retired as Vice-president and general manager of Turnbull Chrysler-Plymouth. He was a member Beverly Hills United Methodist Church, Huntington Lions Club and a board member of the Huntington Housing Authority. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Bartley Winnell, a son-in-law Steve Hall, an infant brother Delmar, a sister, Juanita Condit and brother, Joseph Winnell. He is survived by his daughter, Randi Hall of Huntington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Sue Winnell of Hickory, NC and Paul and Sharon Winnell of Clermont, FL; six grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Hall of Greenville, SC; Kelli Hall of Raleigh, NC; Trevor (Christy) Winnell of Raleigh; Courtney (Lee) Whittaker of Hickory; Aaron (Emmy) Winnell of Montverde, FL and Katie (J.D.) Lemming of Dallas, TX; seven great grandchildren, nieces and nephew, Lyn, Cathy, Terry and Debbie and a sister-in-law, Betty Winnell of Charleston, WV.
