Florence V. Wills, 78, of Huntington passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Father Jim Sobus officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born September 30, 1932 in Nanticoke, PA. Ms. Wills is a veteran of the US Air Force, where she worked in a hospital that served the Strategic Air Command. She spent most of her nursing career at St. Mary's Hospital and the last 20 years as an instructor at the St. Mary's School of Nursing. She is survived by one son, John Wills of Huntington; two grandsons, Ryan and Logan Wills, both of Columbus, OH and one sister, Betty Ambrose and her husband, Donald of Yucca Valley, CA.
