Eva Aurella Carrico

EVA A. CARRICO, 83,of Huntington, widow of Charles E. Carrico of Clarksburg, passed away at the Emogene Dolin-Jones Hospice House. She was born on July 29, 1929 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of Italian immigrants, the late Domnick and Immaculate Pacelli Vilone. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Vilone and a sister, Mary Ann Kurtz. She is survived by her loving daughter Cynthia who was also her caretaker; sisters Rose Muriale who she worked along-side of at Rocco's, Helen Pinicki, and Margie Knight; a host of nieces and nephews; and her many cats that she loved dearly. Mrs. Carrico was employed at Rocco's Ristorante as a baker, which is owned by her nephew, Rocco Muriale. Earlier in life she was employed at Owens-Illinois in Clarksburg. Mrs. Carrico was a friend to everyone she met and will be fondly remembered for her delicious baked goods. At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Grafton National Cemetery in Grafton, WV. Beard Mortuary is assisting the family.
