Esther Lee Hensely

Esther Lee Hensley 84, of Barboursville, WV died Friday February 24, 2012 at Chateau Grove Senior Living. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Tommy Jeffrey officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born November 10, 1927 in Huntington, WV.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Sadie Caldwell Jeffrey. She was the owner and operator for over 11 years of the former Vital Foods Health Food Store on Rt. 60, Barboursville. Esther enjoyed running her business and visiting with her customers, she also enjoyed square dancing and playing bingo where she made many friends over the years.  She is survived by a host of family and friends. The family would like to thank the Grove's and the staff at Chateau Grove Senior Living for the excellent care that Esther and her mother Sadie received for over 9 years and also, Esther's bingo friends at Chateau Grove for their friendship and thoughtfulness.  Friends may call after 10:00 am on Friday at Beard Mortuary.
