Eloise Irene Trenor

Eloise Irene Trenor, 98, of Huntington passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington.  Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Chapel of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Reasons and the Rev. Hubert Harvey officiating.  Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.  She was born November 6, 1910 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel Darnell Webb.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frederic C. Trenor and two brothers, Col. Paul L. Webb and Kendall V. Webb.  Mrs. Trenor was a graduate of Marshall College and taught school in Mingo County.  She was also a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 29 years.  Eloise also loved to play bridge.  She is survived by two sons, Frederic C. Trenor II and his wife, Denise of Pittsburgh, PA and Robert W. Trenor and his wife, Jane of Charleston, SC; three grandchildren, Frederic Trenor III of Pittsburgh, PA, John Trenor and his wife, Anne-Marie of London, England and James Trenor of Charleston, SC; one great grandson, Colby; and two brothers, Roy D. Webb and Chester L. Webb.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Huntington or Fifth Avenue Baptist Church.  Online condolences may be sent at www.beardmortuary.com
