Elizabeth Anne Fox Chapman

Elizabeth Anne Fox Chapman "Betty", 65, of Lesage, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 4, 2008 at home.  Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Oak Hill UBI Church, Lesage, WV, with the Rev. Jamie Jefferson officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenbottom Memorial Park, Lesage.  She was born October 16, 1942 to the late Franklin Pierce and Margaret Conway Shepherd.  She was the wife of Norman "Butch" Chapman.  She was a social worker retired from multiple organizations throughout Cabell County.  She attended Oak Hill UBI Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bill Walters and Edward Shepherd.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Joan Meske of Cleviston, FL and her twin, Lorraine Collins (Mike) of Brooksville, FL; one brother, Irvin Shepherd (Deborah) of Pittsburg, TX; her children, Phillip Fox (Della) of Lesage, WV, Carolyn Niswander of Lesage, Frank Fox of Huntington, Timothy Fox (Dawn) of Lesage and Greg Chapman of Mt. Olive, WV.  She was a very proud dedicated grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
