Elizabeth Lynn "Betty" Grant

Elizabeth Lynn "Betty" Grant, 67, of Lancaster, KY, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007 in Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington, KY.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Beard Mortuary, Huntington with Pastor Mark East officiating.  Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington.  She was born March 10, 1940 in Huntington, a daughter of the late William and Mary Little Collins.  She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald Lee Grant and one brother, William Collins.  Betty was a member of the Danville Church of the Nazarene.  She graduated from Huntington East High School in 1958 and she and her husband were self-employed restaurant owners for over 33 years.  She is survived by her husband, Charles Grant; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Nancy Grant of Boynton Beach, FL, David and Debbie Grant of Ironton, OH and Chuck Grant of Kings Mountain, KY; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Art Shea of Columbus, OH, Laura and Paul Stevens of Ashland, KY and Lisa and Todd McCoun of Lexington, KY; one sister, Margaret Huggins of Ft. Myers, FL; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
