Elaine Barr Sharps

Elaine Barr Sharps, 90, a resident of Woodlands in Huntington, went to be with our Lord December 11, 2014. She was born July 4, 1924, the daughter of William J. and Blanche W. Sharps. Elaine was retired from International Nickel Co., where she worked as a Chemist after graduation from Huntington East High School. Elaine was a lifelong member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church, and loved both our Lord and her church family. She is survived by two cousins, Ken Snyder and Dorcus Kent, as well as a host of friends and her church family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, at 1pm at the Highlawn Presbyterian Church with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Highlawn Presbyterian Memorial Fund.
