Doris Jean Walden Blevins

DORIS J. WALDEN BLEVINS, 77, of Huntington W.Va., passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at home. She was born November 28, 1933 a daughter of the late Wayne and Fairabell Copley. She was also preceded in death by husband George Blevins Jr.; two brothers Bill "William" Copley, Lawrence Copley; and one sister, Marie Copley. She is survived by two sons, George Blevins III and Mike Blevins, both at home; daughter Debbie and her husband Larry Hagley of South Point, Ohio and their son, Donnie Walden, daughter Jeannie Hinton and her daughters, Beverly Walden, Natasha and her husband Mike Short, daughter Theresa Ann Miller and her two daughters and son, Angie Scarberry, Nickie Ratcliff, and Daniel Ratcliff Jr. of Huntington, W.Va. Mrs. Blevins has 14 Great-grandchildren. Her sisters are Sadie Martin, Wilda Walden, Delsie Maynard, and Rosalee Maynard. She was a member of thePhiladelphia United Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
