Doris Justice

Doris Jeffries Justice of Huntington, WV entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday, April 24, 2014.  Doris was born April 23, 1929 in Logan, WV.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle B. Justice, parents, Jessie and Bessie Jeffries, brother, Jerry Thomas Jeffries, in laws, Everett and Mollie Justice and several brothers and sisters-in-law.  Doris is survived by her children Judy (Tom) Avis and Rod (Becky) Justice.  Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Christie (John) Castle, Jonathan (Leeanna) Justice, Meghan (Matt) Parry, Leah (Erik) Vint, Kendra (Stephen) Zeigler and great grandchildren, Joey, Maranda and Macey Castle, Anna, Bec, and Bre Cundiff, Garrett, Hunter and Grace Parry.  Doris is also survived by a sister, Hazel Hale, a brother, Billy George (Beverly) Cooksey and a sister-in-law Mary Justice, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews and a special caregiver and dear friend Donna Whaley.  The family will receive friends at Beard Mortuary on Sunday, April 27, 2014 from 5:00 -7:00 PM.  A celebration of her life will be held at 10th Avenue Church of God with Rev. Rod Justice officiating on Monday, April 28, 2014 at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Woodmere Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to YWEA World Missions at www.cogywea.com or The Gideon Bible Project at Gideon.org.  The family would like to express our deep appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospital for the excellent care given to our mother.
