Doris Juanita Davis, 96, of Huntington, WV went home to be with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2012 in Pataskala, Ohio.
Doris was born in Huntington on February 22, 1916 to the late William and Francis Hinchman. She was retired from a long successful career in sales and advertising.
She is survived by one daughter Nancy (Dick) Levacy of Pataskala, her son Tom Davis of Huntington, granddaughters Kelly Ratcliff and Suzanne (George) Mills and great grandchildren Caleb and Jack Mills, David and Lauren Ratcliff, her sister Texie Steinbrecher and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
Her sense of humor and ability to laugh at things made her a joy to be near. She attended the Union Missionary Baptist Church and loved Jesus with all of her heart. Her family will miss her strong, loving, and passionate personality more than we can ever say. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Barry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after 12:00 pm on Thursday at Beard Mortuary.
