Donna Carol Crabtree

Donna Carol Daugherty Crabtree, 41, of South Point, OH passed away August 8, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center following complications from a lifelong battle with Type 1 Diabetes.  Funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2007 at Sunrise Church of the Nazarene, South Point, OH, with Pastor Denver Prater officiating.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Crabtree II, her infant daughter, Beth Ann and her brother, David A. Daugherty.  Survivors include a son, Carl E. Crabtree III, his wife, Miranda and two children, of Kingsport, TN, a daughter, Emily Leigh Crabtree of South Point, OH; mother, Janice Paveglio of Johnson City, TN; father, Roger A. Daugherty of Pikeville, KY; sister, Leigh Ann Cairo of Pasadena, CA; three sisters-in-law, Kathy Ellis and Carolyn Barnett of South Point, OH and Brenda Kelly of Athens, PA and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may call from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Friday at the church.  A second visitation will be held Saturday, August 11, 2007 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Oak Hill Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN, with graveside services to follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Scott Wiest officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
